CHATEAU CORRENSON

Our chateau is located in St Genies de Comolas, in the Rhône Valley and extends 70ha. For nearly 40 years we have updated our production process without foregoing the traditions which re not only dear to us but also a true passion. Splendid plots adorned by rolled pebbles once carried by the Rhone river, noble grapes such as Syrah, Grenache, Clairette and Mourvedre to blossom.

VINIFICATION:

SOIL CLAY AND CALK COVERED WITH ROLLED PEBBLES.HAND HARVEST WITH TRADITIONAL VINIFICATION. VATTING FROM 15 TO 21 DAYS IN THERMO REGULATED TANKS. AGED IN OAK BARRELS FOR 4 MONTHS.

TASTING NOTES:

THIS WINE HAS A LOVELY DEEP PURPLE COLOR. ON THE NOSE, IT REVEALS AN INTENSE BOUQUET OF BLACK AND RED FRUITS. ON THE PALATE, ROUND TANNINS AND FRUITS, FULL BODIED.

PAIR WELL WITH GRILLED MEATS AND CHEESE.
